I have a student (and a couple of colleagues actually) who, when you are speaking to them you can tell, are just waiting for their turn to talk again. Or even worse - rarely ‘let’ you talk. Talk, talk, talk about themselves and never once consider to really ask about you, or your opinion.

Fewer and fewer people seem to value listening and being interest…
